About CaddyPatch | Instructions

CaddyPatch is intended for use at a golf practice range with regulation golf balls.

1. Remove your CaddyPatch card from the protective vinyl sleeve and snap the upper half from the lower half. The card is scored in the middle to facilitate this. Since there is a brush on the back of the upper portion you will want to save it.

2. Holding your CaddyPatch card in front of you, observe the red dot on the left edge of your CaddyPatch. You will notice that at that point the leather edge of CaddyPatch is slightly thicker. This is the spot that you should start to peel your CaddyPatch from the card.

3. Lift the edge of your CaddyPatch at the location of the red dot and peel it off, across the face of the card.

4. Take your club and place your CaddyPatch on the club face in such a position that the hole is centered on the area of the club face where you would like to strike the ball. This will be your target “hit” area.

5. Address the ball and take a swing, observing the direction, trajectory and distance the ball traveled.

6. Observe the image formed on the surface of your CaddyPatch. A well-executed hit will leave an image that is close to the center hole of your CaddyPatch.

7. After you have studied the image to your satisfaction, take the edge of your CaddyPatch card and brush it across the surface of the leather. In one or two strokes, the image will disappear. Your CaddyPatch is ready to record another hit.

8. Tee up another ball, adjust your swing as necessary and take another swing. And continue your practice session by repeating steps 5, 6 and 7.

9. When you have completed your practice session, peel off your CaddyPatch from your club by again grasping the edge near the red dot. Replace it on the CaddyPatch card and insert both into the protective vinyl sleeve.
